For several years now, Mark My Papers has worked closely with a leading exam centre for private candidates in Birmingham, and we are delighted to say that this centre, ARC (formerly the Academic Enrichment Centre), is now able to offer A Level science practicals. This is fantastic news. With the growth in online and home-learning, securing a place at a supportive exam centre that offers a multitude of exam boards is of paramount importance. The rise in popularity for science A Levels brings with it the challenge of arranging practical assessments.
As a parent who has undertaken this task, our Founder & Managing Director Emma White is very aware of the complications involved in this process and so the opening of a new, dedicated centre is wonderful news. Emma’s own son sat his NSAA at this centre two years ago and so she can vouch wholeheartedly for their excellent approach and how supportive they were to work with.

“arc exams is a private examination centre located four miles south east of Birmingham city centre. Formerly known as the Academic Enrichment Centre we are dedicated to providing excellent assessment facilities, primarily aimed at those learners not participating in mainstream education ie Home Educated learners, private candidates or, indeed, anyone in full-time education who is self-studying for a subject not offered by their school/college.
We are able to assess the majority of subjects offered by Awarding Organisations, ensuring most learner assessment requirements can be catered by arc exams alone, providing a ‘one-stop shop’ service.
